We would like to extend to customers, the expert appraisal services of our Homestead Firearms staff. We will be happy to appraise any number of your firearms. All appraisals provide reports that include price, certificates and we will also provide you with historical information about your firearm.
We now offer two levels of appraisals.
Level 1 Silver_Appraisal
The Silver_Appraisal Level ($20) provides you with a 'ball-park' figure for your gun. This is for the person who wants to find out generally what their gun is worth. This type of appraisal can be done by email correspondence with attached digital images of the gun. The final estimate will be a potential range of prices that your gun might be worth. A digital Certificate of Appraisal is provided. Level 2 Gold_Appraisal
The Gold_Appraisal Level , ($30) is a more detailed and accurate appraisal and usually entails visual inspection of the firearm. We have found that it is extremely difficult to accurately appraise a gun only from pictures or written descriptions. Therefore, for this option we prefer to visually inspect the firearm. The gun can either be mailed or brought in person to our business site. We also encourage you to send a written description of as much of the gun's history as possible. This is an intensive appraisal, providing the customer with detailed information and 3 differing values - a wholesale value, retail value and an insurance-claim value.
