Replacement stock for a Model 62A Winchester 22 rifle. This is a quality walnut stock with the tang area cut specificaly to fit all Winchester Model 62A pump 22 rifles. Wood in it the Winchester butt plate width, but length (top to bottom length) is variable. This Walnut stock can also be purchased with an option of Oil finish. With this option, the stock is initially stained to bring out the wood’s beautiful grain along with giving a consistent color. Next, a sealing coat is applied, which creates a durable barrier to resist water and other elements that can negatively affect the wood. Finally, multiple coats of special formula oil are applied, and when dried is buffed, creating a satiny smooth, gloss finish. Comes with screw holes on end of butt and wood on the neck fits into tang with hole for tang screw drilled. This way, the stock fits properly (snug) with receiver. A replacement butt plate and screws for this stock, can be purchased as an option.
