Replacement stock for a Model 1906 Winchester .22 caliber rifle. Comes as quality walnut, chosen specifically for strength around the tang region. Wood on the neck that fits into tang and each has been individually fit so that the tang screw-hole lines up perfectly. This way, the stock fits properly (snug) with receiver. The choice walnut stock is stained then oil finished to bring out the wood’s beautiful grain along with giving a consistent color. A sealing coat is applied, which creates a durable barrier to resist water and other elements that can negatively affect the wood. Multiple coats of special formula oil are applied, and when dried is buffed, creating a satiny smooth, gloss finish. This stock comes with butt plate and screws.
