~~~SOLD~~~ "A very early pre-war Model 62. A serial number of 41700 places production in 1936, and with the correct ""A"" following the receiver number. Gun has correct smaller forearm and wood all solid. Butt plate slightly worn on edges but Winchester logo still clearly visible. Metal has turned to a soft patina over the surface. Bore is still excellent on this rifle, bright and shiny with strong rifling. All internal parts function properly and bolt has the correct early type extractor. This is a very Collectible and shootable early Model 62 Winchester."
