After 151 years, the original Henry Rifle holds its value like few other things. Genuine engraved Henrys from the early years are rare finds and highly prized by knowledgeable collectors. The majority of Henry Rifles were made with a distinctive brass frame which was often personalized by master engravers with the ownerÃ†s name and graceful tracery designs of the era.

Like the original Henrys of the 1860s, the Deluxe Engraved edition we offer today is already a genuine piece of American history. This rifle is a faithful line-by-line copy of the fabled Original is one reason. The sheer elegance of the piece is another. Using existing photos of those historic patterns, our artisans have replicated a distinctive scroll design which at the time was an evolution to both greater detail and fuller coverage engraving. They copy the original pattern, engrave the receiver to depth, and hand chase the scroll to add bright cuts and detail to this beautiful embellishment.
